Patty Shaivitz Leve is a calligrapher who has been designing and writing ketubot, Jewish marriage contracts, and other original calligraphic pieces, for over 40 years. She graduated from Cooper Union with a BFA, studying graphic design and calligraphy. She brings together her love of old manuscripts and her love of Judaism in her artistic pieces. Her studio is in Baltimore.
